Khoa D. Nguyen, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board

As CEO and chairman of the board, Khoa brings extensive industry experience to Ezenia He oversees the planning and execution of the company's business strategy, business development, and day-to-day operations of the company.

Prior to joining Ezenia, Khoa held several positions at PictureTel including: general manager of the Group Systems Division and Network Systems Division; vice president of engineering; and chief technology officer. Earlier, Khoa served as vice president of engineering at VTEL where he was responsible for the development of its MEDIAMAX PC-based group videoconferencing systems, its multipoint products, and its desktop videoconferencing systems. Earlier, Khoa was with IBM for 17 years where he was involved in the research and development of office systems, personal computers, RISC-based computer systems, the AIX UNIX operating system, and graphic workstations.

Khoa holds a B.S. in electrical engineering and computer science from the University of California at Berkeley and a master's degree in electrical engineering and computer science from the University of Texas at Austin.

Eugene H. Wolf, Executive Vice President Operations

In addition to leading Ezenia's Worldwide Sales and Marketing teams, Gene oversees the Customer Support and Engineering departments. He has over 25 years of hands-on experience in launching, leading and growing telecommunications and next-generation network product and service companies.

Prior to joining Ezenia, Gene served as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Customer Support at Quintum Technologies, where he led the sales efforts and support of Quintum's VOIP gateways into 100+ plus countries through a network of 300 partners. Earlier, Gene served as the CEO and President of Pixion, a leading provider of cross-platform web collaboration tools. Prior to Pixion, he was President of Ridgeway Systems, an international IP software company that was acquired by TANDBERG in 2004.

Gene also spent three years as the President of RADVISION, Inc. and Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales. During his time at RADVISION, the company grew from $9.0 million in revenue to some $50.0 million in revenue, and completed a successful IPO. Prior to RADVISION he was the President/CEO of the U.S. Subsidiary of Controlware, a German based company which grew from $1.0 million to some $8.0 million in revenue selling ATM and ISDN products.

Kenneth E. Garofano, Chief Technical Officer

Ken leads the company in defining future product technologies that pertain to the use of media to be incorporated into Ezenia!'s product roadmap.

Prior to joining Ezenia!, Inc., Ken was the President and Founder of Zydacron, Inc., Mr. Garofano is well regarded as one of the pioneers in the videoconferencing industry. He grew this New Hampshire-based videoconferencing business to an 18% market share in the U. S. Military and a 20% market share in the telemedicine industry. Prior to Zydacron, Mr. Garofano was a founding member and Vice President of Operations for Itran Corporation, a manufacturer of machine vision systems for the industrial marketplace. Ken holds a BSBA in Business Management from Northeastern University.
