2. I need to backup my entire server (OS and InfoWorkSpace). What has worked for other customers? (v2.x)
If properly managed, most enterprise backup systems can accomplish the task. We strongly recommend that you frequently use the InfoWorkSpace Utilities backup to maintain the integrity of your virtual environment. In our lab facility, we have successfully made use of Ghost Enterprise 7.0 to create images of our InfoWorkSpace servers. Total restore time takes approximately 28 minutes (depending on the size of your environment)

3. What utilities are available for backup/restore of the InfoWorkSpace server? (v2.x)
Both v2.1 and v2.5 are shipped with an InfoWorkSpace Utilities CD-ROM. This CD-ROM provides backup/restore capabilities for all InfoWorkSpace related data. It does not backup/restore your operating system, it only extracts the InfoWorkSpace environment into a backup folder for archiving purposes. This data can be restored to a newly built InfoWorkSpace server of the same fully qualified host name and same operating system.

4. The default seating chart for the PlaceWare Conference Center only shows 200 seats. We regularly have 500+ users. How do I change the default size of the seating chart? (v2.5)
Though there is not any officially supported way to do this, one way is to modify a line located in the properties file in the following directory [this is not the properties file located in the data folder]:
/resources/placeware.cc/type1/properties
You can edit the default seating chart size for all auditoriums by modifying the line shown below to reflect the number of seats you would like to display:
type.S.size=200
This requires a one-time restart of the PW Server.

Tomcat is the servlet engine used along with IIS to allow the InfoWorkSpace servlets to function correctly.

6. Why will my PlaceWare conference center not work? (v2.5)

7. My InfoWorkSpace users cannot connect to the server via the browser client. An "access denied" exception is displayed in the Java console. (v2.1)
** This resolution does NOT apply to InfoWorkSpace version 2.1.1 release ***
The digital certificates for the InfoWorkSpace cache files downloaded have expired. This has been resolved in patch #21a310 for InfoWorkSpace v2.1 only. v2.1 Patches can be retrieved via the Ezenia! Website.
